    Asics Shoes Review

Asics Shoes

ASICS stands for Anima Sana in Corpore Sano, a Latin phrase expressing the ancient ideal of a sound mind in a sound body. ASICS Shoes seems to be developing more stylished shoes for their customers.

ASICS has been developing sports shoes for more than 50 years. Producing innovative sports product solutions and technologies to help athletes achieve their goals is the clear objective of ASICS.

ASICS company name is an acronym for the Latin phrase Anima Sana In Corpore Sano, It means Sound Mind In A Sound Body.

They believe that sport has not only a positive effect on the body and soul, but has a universal meaning that overcomes cultural differences and contributes to improve solidarity.

Since 1998 ASICS are working with extensive Codes of Conduct, which are based on the guidelines of the World Federation of Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) and they are active member of the organization.

Since 2000, ASICS products are almost all PVC free, the number of products made either 100% recycled material or in part will soon exceed one thousand items. ASICS products have been awarded ISO14001 certification.

The Biomechanics Laboratory of Pennsylvania State University developed a way of evaluating the different features of jogging shoes, in the latter half of the 1970's.

In 1979, the ASICS research facility, which had been testing various materials , branched out into a research laboratory exclusively for evaluating sports shoe features, with the onset of biomechanics.

It officially became the Research and Development Department of ASICS, located in Kobe, Japan, in 1985.

It developed and researched materials, technological processes, and product functions. All products of the ASICS including shoes, gear and apparel, were evaluated there.

The laboratory was divided into various sections, each involved with different aspects of research.

All the sections are working for consumer care, one section researches shoe designs for preventing injury, a statistics and marketing section, and another for sensitivity analysis engineering, it deals with the application of scientific principles for design, manufacture, and operating processes and systems.

Advanced Shoes Manufacture Using Digital Technology

The laboratory uses digital technology in making shoes. Research and development of special materials to make the shoes function better, such as a non-slip outsole for wet track and road conditions, a highly resilient midsole for stability, and a very light sponge material for cushioning and weight considerations was the main task of this laboratory.

The secondary task was attaining precise foot measurements for optimum fit. A very accurate laser device which measures the feet was developed in 1990. This laser device could precisely measure the entire foot in 2 mm sections. Like a CT-scan, this device analyzes the data and designs a detailed 3-D model of the foot using CAD (computer-aided design) programs.

The development of the shoes was the third task of the lab. A metal shoe mold was made to the foot's specifications and a sample shoe, such as a prototype, was manufactured, after an athlete's foot was analyzed by CAD.

A quality-control checking and testing process to see how well the prototype shoes functioned and performed, and to determine if there were any problems was the fourth task of this laboratory. All sample pair of shoes was examined thoroughly point by point for shock absorption qualities, flexibility and grip of outsole, etc. After completion of all these tasks, it will put into manufacture for the general public, if the shoe passed muster.

In 1992, ROTE-SPIKER FX: A new model by the name "GEL-CHARGER" introduced with thicker sole and a good shock Absorber, to provide better cushioning and stability for the volley ball players especially while spiking the volley ball.

A tennis shoes with two patterns, having no loss of performance with a very less weight got these attributes for its curved arch and counterd fit and the grooves on the sole gives great grip on slippery sand-surface courts in 1994.

In the year 1995, TIGER RUG WM: wallabies a special type of soccer shoe which was made by Syntyhetic leather were used by Australian rugby team team , During long plays to remove foot fatigue a special "SPACER-PLATE SOLE were used. UNTIIMPACT STACK was the other Providing comfort and also prevent the cleats from being push up into the foot.

LADY RUNNER : A special type of running shoes women ina three dimensioanl mold of foot used in making of the shoes was designed by ASICS, using these type of model major foot problem of women were minimised in 1996.

After two years, LR 100 For this type of model ,the shoe is designed in such a way to have cushioning functions,so called as OBLIQUE LAST, OBLIQUE FIT SUPPORT, SLASH SOLE, HEEL FULL WRAP MIDSOLE.
